When a person has a cardiac arrest, giving first aid within 4 minutes is the golden four minutes to save a life.
In the class of BLS, each student learned and operated a series of effective first aid measures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, artificial respiration and so on.
The BLS course covers:
Adult and pediatric CPR
Two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask
Foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious)
Automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update)
Special resuscitation situations
Other cardiopulmonary emergencies
