On March 25th, the Health Professionals Development Alliance Conference was held in Yiwu, with the theme “Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Development.” This conference provided a high-level platform for cooperation and communication among medical professionals from home and abroad, attracting over 1,400 attendees on-site.
Romain Jacquet, Counselor of Health of the French Embassy in China, believes that deepening Sino-French exchanges and mutual learning has significant and far-reaching implications. He expressed his sincere hope to establish high-level exchanges and collaboration in the medical field, share health development experiences, build bridges of cooperation, and develop joint projects to create a comprehensive and multi-domain, interconnected cooperation platform for mutual benefit, leading to a brighter future of common development.
Zhou Tianhua, the Vice President of Zhejiang University, stated that Zhejiang University attaches great importance to the internationalization of medical field. He emphasized that the university has already broken ground on the construction of the International Medical Center deeply integrated with education, research, and care based on the Fourth Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (ZJU4H), and the International School of Medicine, Zhejiang University (ZJU-ISM). Zhou also expressed the hope for cultivating the next generation of medical talent, sharing new experiences, and seeking innovative ideas.
The conference was organized by ZJU4H and ZJU-ISM, with the support of NHC and all the affiliated hospitals of Zhejiang University.
