health professional education (HPE), especially medical student development and the finance of HPE.
He holds a Ph.D. from Peking University, focusing on health professions education. He has published articles in Medical Education, Medical Teacher, Computers & Education, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Medical Teacher, and other top-tier journals. He has translated books such as Oxford Textbook of Medical Education, Understanding Medical Education: Evidence Theory and Practice, Researching medical education, Essential Skills for a Medical Teacher, A practical guide for medical teachers (fifth edition and six edition) . He has worked as the Principal investigator in many national-level research projects（like NSFC programs) and launched the China Medical Student Survey.
