On May 25, 2026, the Library of the ZJU-ISM, hosted an information literacy lecture for all students of the 2025 intake. The event invited Gao Feng and Chen Zhenyu from Zhejiang University Library to give lectures, helping students make full use of library resources and lay a solid foundation for their study and research.

The lecture consisted of two sessions tailored to the needs of medical study and academic research. Gao Feng delivered a sharing on library services and resource utilization. Drawing on his experience in managing the Zijingang Main Library, he illustrated the collection resources, book borrowing procedures, access to digital resources and operation of intelligent facilities. He also answered common questions and offered practical tips to help students utilize both physical and digital library resources effectively.

Chen Zhenyu gave a talk on methods and skills to obtain full texts of medical literature. Centering on the university's medical databases, he explained practical skills including literature retrieval, full-text access and acquisition of rare documents. The session addressed difficulties in finding foreign literature and low retrieval efficiency, enabling students to build a sound knowledge system for literature searching.

The lecture helped the 2025 freshmen get well acquainted with the use of university library resources. The college will continue to organize information literacy activities based on library platforms, encouraging students to explore the value of collections and pursue academic progress with solid capabilities.
