Li is a member of the Gastroenterology Group of the Pediatrics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, deputy head of the Gastroenterology Endoscopy Branch of the Pediatrics Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctors Association, deputy head of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Minimally Invasive Group of the Chinese Maternal and Child Health Association, deputy chairman of the Gastroenterology Committee of the Futang Children Medical Development Research Center, etc. Li is highly accomplished in the diagnosis and treatment of children’s immune pathogenesis of gastrointestinal diseases, children’s inflammatory bowel disease, children’s Helicobacter pylori infection, gastrointestinal food allergy, children’s functional gastrointestinal diseases, intestinal microecology and pediatric diseases and pediatric digestive endoscopy. While in charge of the multi-level courses of pediatric digestive diseases, Li has led/participated in a number of national, provincial and ministerial level projects. As the first/corresponding author, he published over 80 papers in domestic and foreign core journals, of which nine papers were included in SCI. Li was involved in the consensus formulation of four, in the editing of two works, and served as the editorial board a member of several domestic pediatric journals
