On Feb. 13, the Teaching Department held an orientation for all new international students at The Fourth Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (ZJU4H). 19 international students, including MBBS interns, attended the orientation.

The orientation started with a welcome speech from Zhu Guoqiang, deputy director of the Teaching Department, who extended his warm welcome to incoming international students to study at ZJU4H.

Yang Xiaoming, an officer from the Yiwu Exit and Entry Administration Bureau, gave an introduction to the basic situation in Yiwu and gave detailed answers to international students' concerns on various aspects such as visas, identity registration and vehicle driving.

Afterward, staffs from the International Department, Hospital-Acquired Infection Control Department and Security Department introduced the basic information of ZJU4H, the precautions for prevention and control of hospital infection and fire safety respectively. Finally, Yang Mi, deputy director of the Teaching Department introduced in detail the relevant rules and regulations and distributed study materials.

Through this orientation, international students are full of expectation and confidence for their upcoming study at ZJU4H
