Director of the DNRF Center for Chromosome Stability, Theme Leader in the A distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University, a member of the Council of the Cellular Organelle Branch of the Chinese Society of Cell Biology and a member of the Council of the Chinese Biophysical Society. He is in charge of the major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program and the Major Research and Development Program for Protein Machines of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
His research interests include core relationship between organelle destabilisation and metabolic disease and has published several high quality papers in international journals such as Science, Mol Cell, Autophagy, PNAS, etc.
