Research direction: Acute renal injury, critical nephrology illness
A one-time visiting scholar at the University of Hong Kong Queen Mary Hospital and the Human Genome Research Center and the Shizuoka Prefecture Hospital, Dr. Yang is now a young committee member of the Nephrology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctors Association, and the Chinese Biomedical Engineering Association. He is a member of the Nephrology Branch, the Rheumatic Immunology Special Disease Branch and the Integrated TCM and Western Medicine Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Doctors Association. He is also a young committee member of Renal Disease Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Association. He works as an expert on reviewing for the second and the sixth medicine departments of the National Natural Science Foundation. He has published more than 30 academic papers, including the well-known SCI TOP journals such as Genet Med, Intensive Care Med, Crit Care and Am J Kidney Dis. Dr Yang has led three projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and one project of the Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation. As a backbone researcher, he and his team has won the first prize of the Zhejiang Province Award for Progresses in Science and Technology.
