Research direction: Respiratory infectious disease, pulmonary interstitial diseasesDr Xu is the vice president of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and is a deputy director of the standing committee of the Zhejiang Medical Association Respiratory Division and Pulmonary Interstitial Disease and Pulmonary Vascular Disease Group, a deputy director of Zhejiang Medical Doctors Association Respiratory Physicians Branch Standing Committee and Pulmonary Interstitial Epidemiology Group. He is also a standing committee member of Zhejiang Medical Association Medical Education Branch, a vice chairman of the Micro Ecology Branch of the Zhejiang Preventive Medical Association, and a trustee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association.Dr Xu has been engaged in clinical treatment, teaching and research work of respiratory diseases for more than 30 years, and involved in multiple programs funded by the National Key R&D Plan and the Zhejiang Province Natural Science Foundation. In recent years, he has published more than 10 high-quality research papers.
