Research direction: Congenital immunity, lipid metabolism, protein modification after translationAs a senior scientist at the being-built Belt and Road International Medicine School, he is employed as a distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University, of the Ministry of Education 'Changjiang Scholars Program', and as a distinguished foreign expert of Zhejiang University. He has undertaken projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key R&D programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and so on. Prof Neculai also serves as a reviewer of such SCI journals as Nature Communications, Journal of Cell Biology, EMBO Journal, Autophagy, etc. He has published more than 50 papers in the SCI journals including Nature, Science and EMBO Journal.
