Research direction: Developmental diseases, reproductive medicine and safe pregnancy
Huang is the dean of the being-built Belt and Road International School of Medicine, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Sciences for Developing Countries, Honorary Academician of the British Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University, and the director of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education in Reproductive Genetics. She has directed programs funded by the "863", "973", and "12th Five-Year-Plan" science and technology supportive programs and the national key R&D programs. As a deputy editor and editorial board member of the SCI journals RBMO and JOVR Huang has published more than 300 papers in the SCI journals such as Nature Medicine and PNAS.
