Research direction: Fundamental, clinical and translational research in reproductive medicine
Xu has directed a number of research projects funded by the national "12th Five-Year Plan", the National Natural Science Foundation, and those enlisted as provincial and ministerial key projects. Xu also has published more than 50 SCI papers and has been granted over 10 national patents and won a second prize of the National Prize for Progresses in Science and Technology, a first prize of the National Maternal and Child Health Science and Technology Progress Award, and a first prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Award.
