On December 27, 2025, the 2025 Academic Annual Meeting of the International Institute of Medicine (IIM), Zhejiang University, was successfully held.
During the opening ceremony, Academician Huang reviewed the Institute’s leapfrog development over the past five years and outlined key priorities for the next stage. She emphasized strengthening the Institute’s role as a driving engine for scientific research, deepening the integration of basic and clinical research, building a high-caliber faculty team, and encouraging researchers to focus on professional excellence and sustained innovation.
Executive Vice Dean Jian Xu delivered the 2025 annual work report, summarizing major accomplishments of the year and setting forth strategic tasks for 2026.
Outstanding 2025 researchers were awarded to commend excellence and inspire further progress.
The annual meeting strengthened academic exchange, fostered consensus on future development, and laid a solid foundation for the Institute’s next phase of growth. Looking ahead, the International Institute of Medicine will continue to focus on the frontiers of health and medical sciences, advancing innovation and contributing to the development of global health.
