Please read the following information carefully regarding your registration for the upcoming semester.
1. Online Pre-registration
1.1 Time: August 25-31, 2026
1.2 Retrieve your Student ID and log in to the system
-Retrieve Your Student ID
Please log in to the International Student Online Application System of Zhejiang University via the link: https://intlstudent.zju.edu.cn/
Your Student ID can be found to the right of your profile picture. This ID will serve as your unique identification code throughout your studies at the university.
-Log in to the International Student Service Platform via the link: https://intlstudent.zju.edu.cn/isstu (Pre‑registration will be available in the system starting at 00:00 on August 25, 2026.)
On the login page, please select Unified Identity Authentication.
Account: Student ID
Password: zju2026+last four digits of your passport number
Example: zju2026123X (11 digits in total, including numbers and English characters)
1.3 Steps to complete online pre-registration
-Click Pre-Registration to enter the pre-registration process.
-Follow the step-by-step instructions (Steps 1–6) on the system, which include tuition payment (for self-funded students only), purchase of international student insurance, etc.
2. On-site Registration
All new students must enter China with an X1 visa and complete on-site registration at the campuses/colleges specified in their Admission Notice.
2.1 Documents and materials required

Master’s students: Original bachelor’s degree certificate
Doctoral students: Original master’s degree certificate
Note: Certificates must be in Chinese or English. Certificates in other languages must be accompanied by a notarized translation.Students who fail to present the required certificates will not be permitted to register.

2.1.2 To Submit
Two recent 2-inch (35mm×45mm) front-facing bareheaded photos with white background (Write your student ID number and name on the back of each photograph.)
2.2 On-site Registration Time and Location
For undergraduate students, English-taught master’s students, and doctoral students. Students enrolled in Chinese-taught master’s programs, please refer to your admission notice.

3. On-campus Housing
3.1 The online accommodation reservation period is from August 18 to August 30, 2026, and the reservation link is:

3.2 Regarding accommodation fee payments, please follow subsequent announcements in the DingTalk group.
[Hangzhou] Only for some students enrolled in Chinese-taught master's programs.
Students admitted to study at campuses in Hangzhou may apply for on-campus housing starting August 26, 2026, via the online reservation system. Please refer to the Notice of Online Accommodation Reservation for International Students 2026 Autumn Semester

4. Important Notes
4.1 All students must complete both online pre-registration and on-site registration within the designated time frame.
4.2 Students who are unable to attend on-site registration as scheduled must apply for a deferral by email before September 8. The deferred registration date must be no later than September 23, 2026.
