Research direction: Liver, gallbladder, and pancreas tumor accurate diagnosis and treatment—fundamental research and clinical applications
Dr Hu is a leader of the Zhejiang Province Innovative Health Talents project, enlisted in the Zhejiang 151 Talents Plan (the second tier). He has led three National Natural Science Foundation projects and a few provincial and ministerial projects. As one of the main participants, he has won the first prize of the National Prize for Progresses in Science and Technology (Innovative Team Award) and the first prize of the Zhejiang Medicine and Health Science and Technology Award. As a member of the Education and Academic Committee of the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS), a member of the Pancreatic Diseases Committee of the Chinese Society of Research Hospitals, and a member of the editorial board of several SCI journals, he has published more than 30 papers in such SCI journals as Liver Transplantation and Surgery.
