Research direction: Tumor physical therapy, gallbladder, liver, and pancreatic minimally invasive therapy
Dr Tang is the vice dean of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and the director of general surgery department. He is also one of the standing committee members of the Tumor Data Intelligent Physical Therapy Committee of the Zhejiang Society for Mathematical Medicine, the deputy leader of the Standardized Tumor Ablation Training Expert Group of the Chinese Medical Doctors Association, a deputy chairman of the Tumor Ablation Committee of the Zhejiang Anti-Cancer Association, a standing committee member of the Minimally Invasive Tumor Therapy Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Society, a standing committee member of the Surgery Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Doctors Association, a standing committee member of the Tumor Surgeons Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Doctors Association, a member of the Surgery Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Association. He has published a training textbook Standardized Training Materials for Tumor Ablation Therapy by the People's Medical Publishing House as the second writer and worked as an editorial board member of JCRT. Dr Tang has led a sub-project under a national “13th Five Year Plan” and a key R&S program funded by the Zhejiang Science and Technology Department and one funded by the Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation with a total fund of nearly 10 million yuan. He has published more than 50 papers in the SCI journals and the first-class domestic journals.
